In 2021, Ukraine's kiwi imports reached a volume of 16.4 thousand tons, marking the first year that per capita consumption exceeded 400 grams. Greece, traditionally the leading supplier, was surpassed by Iran, which increased its supply by 67% and accounted for 40% of kiwi imports to Ukraine. Greece remained in second place with a 37% share, while Italy was third with a 14% share. Notably, Turkey began exporting kiwis to Ukraine two years ago and ranked fifth in 2021, delivering over 700 tons in the first 11 months.
