Two Intrapredial Irrigation Projects, funded by the Ministry of Agriculture through Indap, have been successfully implemented in Chile, benefiting local farmers. The project involves mechanical water elevation for irrigation using pumping systems and geo-membrane dams for water storage. The total investment for the project is $15.321 million, with Indap covering $12.998 million and the remaining cost contributed by the farmers. The project is expected to significantly boost the productivity and economic stability of the farmers, with Manuel Camaño Fuentealba and Luis Torres, farmers from the Coroney and Rinco 1 sectors, expressing their gratitude for the support.
