Artyom Gudkov, co-founder of GUDIT, believes Sub-Saharan Africa is an underutilized sales market for agricultural products. While the Netherlands exports 500 thousand tons of onions annually to the region, Ukraine is not capitalizing on these opportunities, only exporting a small amount of apples and onions. The lack of engagement is attributed to the EU's established presence, efficient logistics, and quality control in Africa, which Ukraine currently cannot match. Gudkov stresses the importance of direct business contacts and a physical presence in the region for success in the African market.
