Israel and India, the new export targets for yerba mate of Argentina

The possibility of exporting yerba mate directly to Israel and that Israeli technicians and companies analyze in Misiones the implementation of irrigation systems similar to those used in the Middle East, were the main topics of the meeting, the president of the National Institute of Yerba Mate (INYM ), Juan José Szychowski and Vice President Ricardo Maciel, with Israel's Vice Ambassador to Argentina, Adam Levene, and officials from that diplomatic headquarters. The participation in the agricultural technical conferences that will take place in Israel in October was also evaluated, commented the president of the National Institute of Yerba Mate. Today some 200,000 Latin Americans reside in Israel, of which about 80,000 are Argentines and the rest is divided mainly among Chileans, Uruguayans, Paraguayans, and Brazilians.
