The National Institute of Yerba Mate (INYM) in Argentina met with Israeli officials to discuss the possibility of exporting yerba mate directly to Israel and implementing irrigation systems similar to those used in the Middle East. The diplomats noted that while Argentine yerba mate is available in Israel, it is not as promoted or popular as in other countries. The INYM is also exploring the potential of the Indian market for Argentine yerba mate, citing India's large population and interest in healthy and natural products.
