After a brief hiatus due to Jewish religious holidays, rabbinical teams returned to Paraguay and with them, kosher operations were reactivated in some slaughterhouses: Frigochaco, Frigorífico Guaraní, and Frigorífico Victoria, part of the Minerva Foods group. “The Israeli market always comes seasonally. There are several times a year; they left in mid-September and are now returning at the end of October for the next season,” explained Randy Ross, president of the Paraguayan Meat Chamber, in conversation with InfoNegocios. Ross pointed out that this restart marks the continuity of a solid commercial relationship, although with fluctuations in prices and volumes depending on the year. “It’s not a new market, but it is very interesting.
