Brazil: Israel's agricultural attaché discusses partnerships during a visit to Embrapa Rice and Beans

The agricultural attaché of the Israeli Embassy in Brazil, Ari Fischer, accompanied by the Secretary of State for Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Tiago Freitas de Mendonça, visited Embrapa Arroz e Feijão (Santo Antônio de Goiás, GO) this Thursday, 05 /08, to learn about research projects and discuss partnerships in technology and innovation in the areas of agriculture and water resources. At a meeting with the head of Embrapa Arroz e Feijão, Elcio Perpétuo Guimarães, the main areas of scientific research and information on the technical staff and on the infrastructure for the development of products, technologies and services were presented. Elcio Guimarães highlighted the lines of work that strengthen the research center and that have a positive impact on the advancement of rice and bean production in Brazil.
