It has been revealed how much rain may arrive in the coming days: this is what awaits us now

Last week, Hungarians experienced mostly dry and cooler-than-usual weather. Very little precipitation fell, with a small amount, partly in the form of snow, in the wider area of the Bükk on Thursday, and 0.5-5 mm in the western and southwestern regions on Friday, according to the latest agrometeorological report from HungaroMet Zrt. The precipitation over the past 30 days was largely due to the rainfall in the last week of March, and both the 30 and 90-day precipitation totals show a deficit compared to the long-term average in most parts of the country. The near-surface part of the soil dried out further over the past week and has reached a critically dry state over a large area, with moisture content in the amount of water usable by plants at 30-40%.
