Vietnam aims to be a leading seafood processing center, with a goal to increase the growth rate of processed seafood output to over 6%/year by 2030. However, the industry is facing difficulties such as unstable raw material sources, high production costs, and technical barriers and competition in the global market. To overcome these challenges, the industry is focusing on improving product quality, decreasing production costs, and strengthening export promotion and market development with the support of the government.
