The first inspection of pine nuts, a significant export product from Turkey, destined for Italy, has been completed in Aydın. These nuts, collected under challenging conditions, are a major source of income in the region, following figs, olives, cotton, and chestnuts. Produced mainly in the Koçarlı district, they contribute significantly to Turkey's economy. The Söke District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate conducted the initial inspection and prepared the necessary export documents, marking the start of the export journey for these valuable pine nuts.
