Italy's new kiwi fruit variety, Dulcis, is commercially sold for the first time

At the recent Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Germany, Italian Dulcis kiwifruit made its official debut for the first time. Dulcis kiwi (Ac 459 011) was developed by the Italian company Forlì New Plant in cooperation with the University of Udine and the University of Bologna. Although it is a green-fleshed kiwi, it has the quality of a yellow-fleshed kiwi, and its taste, sweetness and aroma are similar to those of the Chinese kiwi. Typical characteristics of A. Chinensis.
