Jangseong County and Yeongdo District's New Village Movement have been continuing the direct trade of Jangseong rice for 27 years through the sister city relationship for mutual benefit and exchange. Through the direct trade method, which connects producers and consumers directly, high-quality Jangseong agricultural products are provided to Yeongdo District residents at reasonable prices, and stable sales channels are created for Jangseong County farmers. In this direct trade event, a total of approximately 9,300 bags (20 kg) of Armi Rice and sticky rice were ordered, recording sales of approximately 535 million won.
