One place, two checks The Guangxi (China) Export and Import Management Authorities have proposed to Lang Son Province the establishment of a "one place, two checks" commodity standardization pilot zone for cross-border trade at the Lang Son border gates. The "one place, two checks" model is understood as a mechanism where both sides mutually recognize standards, conduct commodity inspections at a common point, and share information, thereby facilitating border trade. According to the proposal, China will send personnel and inspection equipment, including agricultural product checks, to be stationed in Lang Son, while Vietnam will provide land and technical infrastructure. Lam Thien Tinh Agricultural Trade Co., Ltd., the initiator of the model, believes that Vietnam has abundant agricultural products such as rice, coffee, rubber, cashews, and fruits, and the Chinese market has a large demand.
