On the occasion of JD.com's 11.11, JD.com Qixian launched the first "24-hour vegetables" in the fresh produce industry. This measure strictly stipulates that vegetables must be delivered from the field to the shelves within 24 hours, and the entire process is traceable.
Since this year, JD.com Qixian has comprehensively optimized the logistics chain from multiple core vegetable planting bases in North China, such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Zhangjiakou in Hebei, to Qixian stores across the country. The overall circulation time for over a hundred varieties of vegetables in the five core categories of leafy vegetables, organic vegetables, heading vegetables, solanaceous fruits, and cucurbits has been improved by 30%-50%, achieving "from field to shelf within 24 hours."
JD.com Qixian has also launched its self-developed "Food Safety and Quality Full-chain Traceability" system. Consumers can clearly trace the complete circulation process of the "24-hour vegetables" from the base to the store by clicking on "Full-chain Traceability" in the lower left corner of the product homepage on the Qixian APP or mini-program. They can also access key food safety information such as vegetable base qualifications, pesticide residue test reports, logistics transportation information, and warehouse acceptance reports with one click.
