The Jeju Gosan Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Ko Young-chan) Farmer Wives Group held a planting event for next year's early-season onions on the 21st at the demonstration field (1645-1 Gosan-ri, Hancheon-myeon, 2,430㎡) behind the cooperative's distribution center. Thirty members of the group participated in the event. The operation of the demonstration field for next year's early-season onions is a project aimed at improving the farming techniques of female farmers and disseminating superior seeds to onion-growing farmers. Chairman Ko Young-chan said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the members of the Farmer Wives Group who participate in the early-season onion demonstration field operation every year, and we will strive to be a cooperative that faithfully supports practical agricultural benefits and leads in improving farmers' income."
