Jeju Hanwoo and pig export route to Singapore

Fruition of Agreement Reached in Summit between Two Countries 4.5 Tons, 280 Million Won in Scale Following the official agreement on exports reached during the summit between South Korea and Singapore at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit last month, Jeju beef and pork have embarked on their export journey to Singapore. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, in collaboration with the Food and Drug Safety Ministry and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, held a shipment ceremony at Jeju Port to commemorate the first export of Jeju beef and pork to Singapore. The ceremony was attended by over 150 people, including Park Jeong-hoon, Director of the Food Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Jeju Governor Oh Young-hoon, and Song Sung-ok, Director of the Gwangju Food and Drug Safety Office, along with export companies and producer groups.
