The expected tangerine production volume in Jeju this year is estimated to be around 452,100 tons, which is a 4% decrease compared to the past five years' average of 477,000 tons. The survey conducted by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province revealed that the Seogwipo-si area had an average amount of fruit set, while the Jeju-si area had a low amount. There was a significant difference in the amount of fruit set by region and tree, indicating the need for efforts and practices to produce high-quality citrus.
