Jeju ‘Yangjeol’ Buckwheat Seed Production Incentive Payment

A subsidy for the production of ‘Yangjeol’ buckwheat seed distribution was paid to expand domestically bred buckwheat cultivation and improve seed self-sufficiency. The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Research and Extension Services (Director Ko Sang-hwan) announced that it paid a production subsidy to a seed complex that produced high-purity, high-quality seeds of domestically bred ‘Yangjeol’ buckwheat this year. The distributed seeds produced in the seed complex undergo packaging inspections and germination rate tests at each stage of growth, and the quality and purity of the seeds are strictly managed. Among these, only the amount that passed the final seed inspection can be distributed as seeds in the Jeju region and a production subsidy is paid.
