South Korea: Join forces to resolve pending issues in the abalone farming industry

An event was prepared to resolve pending issues in the abalone farming industry and seek development directions. The National Institute of Fisheries Science announced on the 13th that it held a related organization business council meeting in Wando, Jeollanam-do along with Wando-gun, Jeonnam Provincial Institute of Marine and Fisheries Science, Korea Abalone Industry Association, and Korea Abalone Seed Association. This council was prepared to discover current issues in the fields of seeds, cultivation, distribution/processing, and export, which are the core of the abalone farming industry, and to find solutions together with industry, government, and research institutes.
