Jordanian Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Al-Hanafiyat, has expressed his desire for Arab integration to achieve food self-sufficiency, during a visit to Egypt. The visit, which includes a delegion of Jordanian investors, aims to explore cooperation in various areas including seed and seedling production, and the transfer of the Egyptian experience in the sugar industry and beet cultivation. The visit included a tour of the Nubaria Sugar Factory, and discussions on potential partnerships in agriculture and technical committees.
