The 41st World Veterinary Congress (WVAC 2026), held in Tokyo, Japan's capital, brought together thousands of participants from around the world. The Kars Veterinary Chamber was internationally represented at the congress with its ongoing projects and scientific studies. Invited by the World Veterinary Association, Kars Veterinary Chamber President Ercan Ödül and Board Member Dr. Özkan Soylu shared the region's professional development efforts and practice models with international participants. During the congress, the study titled "Strengthening Rural Veterinary Medicine Through Digital Transformation: 2019–2026 Technology Adaptation Model" was accepted by the Scientific Advisory Board and included in the congress summary book.
