The national company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (JSC "NC "KTZ") through JSC "KTZ Express" signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the state logistics company of Pakistan, National Logistics Corporation (NLC), in the field of development of multimodal transportation. The signing took place within the framework of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to Pakistan. This was reported by the press service of KTZ. As noted, the signing of the document became a practical step in the development of transport and logistics interaction between Kazakhstan and Pakistan and is aimed at forming sustainable cargo flows between the markets of the North-South direction. The potential list of cargoes for this direction includes grain and its processed products, coal, fertilizers, metals, chemical products, and lumber.
