The Grain Union of Kazakhstan released a review of the grain market situation for the period from August 11 to August 17, 2025, reports the agency APC News. It is reported that the domestic market of Kazakhstan continued the price correction for grain crops – wheat became cheaper by 2-5 thousand tenge. The reason is the expectation of a good new harvest. "After falling in the previous week, barley became more expensive by 3-5 thousand tenge per tonne, due to the delay in the supply of the new harvest to the market because of the rains. The supply of wheat on the domestic market is minimal due to the depletion of last year's harvest reserves at agricultural producers and the delay in harvesting," reports the head of the ZSK Committee for Analytics, Yevgeny Karabanov.
