Compared to the same period in 2023-2024, grain exports increased by 58.7%. This significant growth not only reflects the strong international market demand for Kazakhstan's grain but also indicates that the country's efforts to expand export channels and improve logistics infrastructure have begun to show results.
In terms of export destinations, traditional markets still dominate: exports to Uzbekistan reached 3.1 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 30.3%; exports to Tajikistan were 1.2 million tons, growing by 46.1%; exports to Afghanistan were 285,000 tons, an increase of 37%; exports to Kyrgyzstan were 209,000 tons, growing by 85.5%; exports to Iran were 963,000 tons, an increase of 17.2 times; and exports to Azerbaijan reached 696,000 tons, with a remarkable growth of 116.6 times.
