Russia and China, vegetable oils were also delivered to Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany and France. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic reminds that the growth in vegetable oil production in Kazakhstan is due to the increase in the area sown with oilseeds. In 2025, their area increased by 36% (+1.055 million hectares). The largest increase was observed for sunflower – +481 thousand hectares (a record sown area in history), flax – +376 thousand hectares and rapeseed – +173 thousand hectares.
