In the 2023/24 marketing year, Kazakhstan experienced a notable increase in the export of soybean, sunflower, and rapeseed meal, with volumes reaching 423 thousand tons, a 44% rise from the previous year. The European Union (EU) continued to be a significant market for these products, importing 74.3 thousand tons, which marks a 15% increase from the previous year and accounts for approximately 17.6% of the total supplies from Kazakhstan. However, the EU's share in the total supplies to Kazakhstan's traditional markets, including China, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, slightly decreased due to increased supplies to these countries.
