Currently, there are three deep processing enterprises in the country, producing starch, gluten, molasses, bioethanol, and other products. It is planned to launch five large-scale projects, which will process 4.8 million tons of wheat and corn annually by 2028. The total investment in the industry will reach $2.6 billion, and 3,300 new jobs will be created. The range of products will be expanded to include amino acids, syrup, vitamins, and other high value-added products, said Saparzhayev. According to previous reports, Kazakhstan's grain exports reached a historic high in 2025.
