Kazakhstani vegetable growers have completed harvesting beets

The results of the sugar beet harvest were summed up at a meeting in the Government chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin. With an average yield of 535.5 centners per hectare, about 1.3 million tons of sugar beet were harvested in Kazakhstan. As of December 20, Kazakhstan's sugar factories accepted 988.6 thousand tons of root crops for processing: Aksu Kant - 351.7 thousand tons (including 39.3 thousand tons from the Zhambyl region), Koksu Sugar Factory - 252.6 thousand tons, Merken Sugar Factory - 384.3 thousand tons.
