Kenya resumes export of chili peppers to the European market

After two months of interrupted exports, Kenya has resumed regular exports of chillies to the EU. The halt followed the interception of chili peppers in July that did not meet the European Union's strict phytosanitary standards. According to Theophilus Mutui, the director of Kenya's Plant Health Inspection Service (Kephis), there have been no further interceptions since then and the country is working with the EU to set clear export standards.
