Kepler Weber has signed a contract with São Martinho to build a grain storage and processing unit in Montividiu (GO), with a static capacity of 240 thousand tons, the companies informed in a statement. The project is part of São Martinho's strategy to expand corn ethanol production in Goiás, where the company is investing R$ 1.1 billion to increase the processing capacity of the Boa Vista Unit, in Quirinópolis. The new structure will be responsible for receiving, cleaning, drying, and storing corn before sending it to the industrial plant, which is expected to process 635 thousand tons of corn per year starting in 2027, producing 270 thousand cubic meters of ethanol.
