The Ministry of Agriculture in Indonesia has partnered with South Korea to develop smart green houses, marking a significant advancement in innovative agriculture. This collaboration aims to address the challenges of declining land availability and the need to boost food crop production using advanced technology. The smart green houses, designed for both educational purposes and increased food crop production, will be located at the Bogor Agricultural Development Polytechnic (Polbangtan) campus. The initial infrastructure preparation is set to begin the same month, with the physical construction starting immediately. This initiative not only signifies the transfer of South Korean agricultural technology to Indonesia but also offers a potential solution for creating jobs and supporting the Ministry of Agriculture's strategic program.
