Korean, Chinese, and Japanese fishermen's groups join hands to restore squid resources

The fishing groups of Korea, China, and Japan have agreed to cooperate to restore squid resources. The 16th Korea-China-Japan Private Fisheries Council was held on Yeongjong Island in Incheon Metropolitan City from September 23 to 25. About 50 representatives from each country, including Chairman Jeong Myeong-hun of the Korea Fisheries Association, Vice Chairman Li Jun-feng of the Chinese Fisheries Association, and Chairman Edamoto of the Greater Japan Fisheries Association, attended the meeting. According to the Korea Fisheries Association, the council discussed safe fishing operations and order maintenance among fishing vessels from the three countries, management of marine fisheries resources, and private fishing exchanges and cooperation among the three countries.
