The Korea Rural Community Corporation has transferred control of a pilot farm and livestock facilities in Uganda to the Ugandan government as part of a project to boost the country's dairy industry. The project, funded by South Korea's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, includes the construction of dairy farms, feed facilities, and the transfer of artificial insemination technology, using Korean cows to increase productivity. Despite favorable conditions for dairy farming in Uganda, the country has struggled due to a lack of facilities and technology. The project is expected to increase milk production and improve the Ugandan dairy industry.
