Russia: Krasnoyarsk farmers have significantly increased the export of peas and oilseeds in 2023

Since the beginning of 2023, the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has monitored more than 1.5 million tons of grain, processed products, oilseeds and peas, which is 27% more than for the same period in 2022. 280 thousand tons of grain, processed products and oilseeds were shipped for export from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which significantly exceeds last year’s figures. In 2022, over 9 months, the region exported 108 thousand tons of grain and rapeseed. The main export volume is rapeseed - 135.6 thousand tons, wheat - 72.1 thousand tons, oats - 27.3 thousand tons. A significant share of Krasnoyarsk grain and rapeseed is exported to Belarus (95.6 thousand tons of rapeseed and 0.2 thousand tons of flax), China (34.8 thousand tons of rapeseed, 50.9 thousand tons of grain, 6.7 thousand . tons of flax seeds and 0.7 thousand tons of peas), Kazakhstan (35.4 thousand tons of grain and 5.2 thousand tons of rapeseed), Kyrgyzstan (14.3 thousand tons of grain), Mongolia ...
