Russia: Krasnoyarsk Krai farmers provided the region with grain; 2.1 million tons were threshed

The region has summed up the preliminary results of the difficult harvesting campaign. This year, villagers carried out autumn field work under emergency conditions. 2 million 158 thousand tons of grain were threshed from 844.4 thousand hectares. In terms of gross harvest, this is the fourth result in Siberia. The average yield of grain and leguminous crops was 25.6 centners per hectare - traditionally the highest in the Siberian Federal District. The leaders in grain threshing are farmers of the Uzhursky, Nazarovsky, Balakhtinsky districts, Sharypovsky municipal district and Novosyolovsky district. Their share in the total regional harvest is more than 50%. The highest results in terms of grain and leguminous crop yields were achieved by farms in the Uzhursky District (40.6 c/ha), Sharypovsky Municipal District (34 c/ha), Rybinsky (32.2 c/ha), Sayansky (28.6 c/ha) and Shushensky (26.4 c/ha) districts.
