Kyrgyzstan plans to establish the export of Arshan breed sheep to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia. This was reported by the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Erlist Akunbekov at a meeting with breeders, according to the press service of the department. It is noted that this breed demonstrates high results in the meat industry. Due to its rapid growth and development, it is already attracting significant interest in the international market. According to the head of the department, the number of Arshan breed sheep has reached 48,000. By 2030, it is planned to increase this figure by 4–5 times. The draft resolution of the cabinet that will allow the establishment of the export of breeding sheep to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia is currently being agreed upon.
