Over 395,000 kg of sunflower meant for animal consumption in Japan, Uruguay, Germany, Mexico, and Honduras has been controlled and certified by the National Service for Agrifood Health and Quality (Senasa) in Ingeniero Luiggi, La Pampa. The certification was conducted by Gabriela Mielgo and Santiago Sciarreta from the Regional Center La Pampa - San Luis of Senasa. The process ensured the containers were in good condition and properly fumigated, inspected the cargo, verified documentation, and ensured the wood sealing met international standards. This is the second time bulk sunflower has been exported to Germany.
