Egypt: Lakes Protection announces the release of one million Nile tilapia fry in Mansoura

The Lakes Protection and Fish Resources Development Authority released one million units of tilapia fry into the Nile River in Mansoura. The fry were distributed to two main sites: 500,000 units under the train bridge in Talkha city, and 500,000 units in front of Oish El Hagar village in Mansoura center. The release process was witnessed by Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, Mr. El-Nakhili, Head of Talkha Center and City, Colonel Ahmed Attia, Director of Mansoura Water Bodies Police, Engineer Ibrahim Talaat, Director of Mansoura Fisheries Office, Mohamed Homos, Supervisor of Lake Manzala Development, and Mr. Fahmy Allam, Director of the Fisheries Resources Department in the Governorate.
