Last year's forest product production in the Chungcheong region, the largest production area, was affected by typhoons and droughts, resulting in a decrease of 1,429 tons. Despite this, overall forest product production in South Korea increased by 3.0% compared to the previous year due to better weather conditions. Astringent persimmons, walnuts, and jujubes saw increases in production, while chestnut production decreased. The results of the survey can be accessed on the Korea Forest Service website.
