Argentina is actively promoting the export of cherries and blueberries to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with sector companies. A successful virtual business round with the UAE resulted in 54 new contacts and 56 meetings, indicating a positive response from Emirati importers. The country plans to expand these efforts to Brazil, the US, and Southeast Asia, targeting premium markets that value taste, quality, and sustainability. Despite the small current demand, the potential is significant due to high purchasing power and selective import practices. The Foreign Ministry's participation is seen as crucial for accessing these premium markets.
