A survey by SAFRAS & Mercado reveals that approximately 1.012 million tons of corn is expected to be exported from Brazilian ports between March and May, with 460.1 thousand tons already shipped. The cumulative shipments of cereal for the period between February/23 and January/24 amount to 2.963 million tons, according to the survey. The Foreign Trade Secretariat, however, reports a higher volume of 3.156 million tons of corn shipped during the same period.
