In 2023, Vietnam's export turnover of agricultural and aquatic products reached 32.5 billion USD, a 5.3% increase from 2022, driven by significant growth in vegetables, fruits, rice, cashew nuts, and coffee. Fruit and vegetable exports surged by nearly 70%, with durian leading, and China being the largest market. Rice exports also saw notable growth, with 5% broken rice prices rising by 42.6% to 653 USD/ton. Asia remained the largest market for rice, with the Philippines, Indonesia, and China as top importers. Despite a decrease in volume, the value of exports to the Philippines increased by 17.6%. Vietnam also maintained its position as the world's second-largest coffee exporter, benefiting from higher Robusta coffee prices.
