The government of the province of Buenos Aires, through its Minister of Agrarian Development Javier Rodríguez, signed an

agreement with the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires (FAUBA) and the Qingdao Agricultural University, with the objective of creating a new Joint Research Center for Innovation in Pastures in the medium term. For now, the agreement involves "strengthening scientific and technical cooperation and promoting agrarian development through the exchange of knowledge and technologies", but with a focus on the natural pastures that the province of Buenos Aires is so rich in. The signing - which took place in a virtual meeting - was also attended by the rector of the Chinese university, Jinshan Zhao, the dean of FAUBA, Adriana Rodríguez, the director of International Relations of the MDA, Cecilia Llabres, along with academic and technical authorities from the involved institutions.
