The Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Mr Yaw Frimpong Addo, stated that the Planting for Food and Jobs programme has significantly improved agriculture and agribusiness. He highlighted the increase in maize yield and rice production under the program but emphasized the need for modern tools and equipment to further transform the sector. He encouraged the use of artificial intelligence, drones, tractors, and the internet in agriculture to boost productivity, reduce waste, create jobs, and increase incomes.
