Marfrig Global Foods notified BRF that it now directly and indirectly holds 58.87% of the company's share capital, according to a statement released last Saturday (12). The update on the stake was reported the day before, after market closing, and occurs amid the merger process between the two companies. The new shareholding position considers both common shares and financial derivative instruments with and without financial settlement. Of the total, 5.11% are composed of derivatives with exclusively financial settlement, while 990.5 million common shares - including derivatives with physical settlement - represent 58.87% of the share capital.
