Markets follow recovery in short session

Agricultural markets started the day with moderate movements, influenced by the holiday in the United States and the advancement of the harvest in the Southern Hemisphere, according to TF Agroeconômica. In wheat, there was a slight increase the previous day, following the performance of other markets, but without additional strength. The contract for March 2026 temporarily returned to exceed US$ 5.40 per bushel, while operators await the new weekly export figures amid increasing international competition. In the physical market, prices in Paraná were R$ 1,200.39 and in Rio Grande do Sul R$ 1,029.26, according to TF Agroeconômica. Soybeans also recorded a recovery yesterday, in the last session before the Chicago Board of Trade closed for Thanksgiving. The contract for March 2026 closed above US$ 11.40 per bushel, driven by new purchases from China, which acquired between 15 and 20 cargoes of the American product.
