Mato Grosso: weather still worries soybean producers

The sowing of the 2025/26 soybean crop in Mato Grosso reached 76.13% of the estimated area, according to a weekly analysis released by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) this Monday (3). The advance was 16.08 percentage points compared to the previous week. Despite the observed pace, the current percentage remains 3.43 percentage points below that recorded in the same period of the previous crop. Imea pointed out that, in this season, "there was no concentration of sowing work, as happened in previous years," which has resulted in a more spaced distribution of cultivated areas.
