The Viet Doanh Agricultural Service Cooperative in Vietnam has partnered with local farmers to develop a chrysanthemum flower sprout nursery model, which has proved to be profitable for the farmers and also provides employment to local workers. The cooperative has expanded the nursery area to over 20 hectares, cultivating around 18-20 types of chrysanthemum sprouts across various communes. The price per seedling ranges from 50-350 VND, generating significant revenue for the cooperative and providing job opportunities for rural workers. The cooperative is now considering exporting chrysanthemum flower sprouts to Japan and Singapore but needs support from city departments and agencies to meet international quality standards.
