According to the Chinese Customs Agency, in the first nine months of this year, the country spent 6.146 trillion USD on the import of 1.513 million tons of longans, a 9% increase in volume and a 0.9% decrease in value compared to the same period in 2024. China continues to buy the most longans from Thailand with 892 thousand tons, worth 3.841 trillion USD. Following Thailand is Vietnam with 620 thousand tons, worth 2.29 trillion USD. In addition to Thailand and Vietnam, China also buys a small amount of longans from Malaysia (729 tons, 11 million USD), the Philippines (743 tons, over 2 million USD), and Cambodia (128 tons, 363 thousand USD).
