Buffalo prices have also increased by 5,000 pounds per head, now costing 45,000 pounds, while the price of premium beef has also risen. Prices for goats, lamb, and Holstein cattle have decreased. The Ministry of Supply sells local kandouz meat at 135 pounds, and lamb at 125 pounds. Butcher shops sell minced meat for 160 to 180 pounds, sausages for 130 to 150 pounds, and buffalo meat ranges from 140 to 190 pounds.
