Russia's meat production increased by 7.1% in the first ten months of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, reaching 2.75 million tons. This includes a 6% increase in October compared to the previous month. Pork production saw an 8.2% increase, while poultry production slightly decreased by 0.1%. Cooked sausages production saw a slight decrease of 0.4% in October but an increase of 0.8% from September. Meat and meat-containing semi-finished products production decreased by 0.8% in October. In fish production, there was a 23.5% increase in fresh or chilled fish fillets from January-October 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. However, frozen fish production saw a decrease of 7.9% in the same period. Canned fish production also decreased by 3.2%, while fish preserves production decreased by 9.8%.
